Hemos cambiado el nombre del blog a "themeowstyle" porquepensamos que es más fácil de escribir (Meoww puede producir confusiones porque a lo mejor crees que has puesto una "w" que sobra y si no la pones te sale el blog de una tía de Singapur que no publica desde 2007 déjame el nombre anda y que te cuenta su vida y claro, estaréis pensando en qué blog os habréis metido y
que haceis leyendo la vida de una pava que ni os interesa ni nada así
que enfin asias por la recomendación pero pensaba que era un blog sobre
moda y bla bla bla bla
Enfin, que yo quería las fotos de mi nuevo shoot y que se viera mi cara. No voy a cubrir mi cara si alguien quiere acusarme de ningún delito online o lo que sea.
Algunos de mis lectores me han enviado mensajes privados preguntando por qué el blog se llama "The Meow Style" (estilo miau). No es sólo porque pongo un tigre en mi cara si no me gusta como salgo (que es en el 98% de las fotos porque soy muy perfeccionista)
Es porque "miau" es el sonido del gato ¿enserio? no me digas y gatos tienen un increíble sentido del gracia y elegancia en sus movimientos y en términos de la ropa es mi estilo favorito: el clásico y elegante sin parecer que parezco tener clase, con un aire desenfadado.

We just changed the name to "themeowstyle" as we think it's more easy to write (meoww may produce confusions because maybe you think you put right and you will think it's a blog about a girl from Singapore telling you her whoole life as if you cared about it and that does not publish since 2007 so why the heck are you in that page and weren't we talking about fashion? and blah blah
And I wanted to publish my new photo shot. I will not cover my face if you want to accuse me of any cyber crime or whatever.
Some of my readers have sent me private messages asking why the blog is called "The Meow Style". It's not only because I put a tigers face in mine when I don't like a photo.
It is because "meow" is the cat's sound duh cats have an amazing sence of grace and elegance in their movements and in terms of clothing it is my favorite style: classy and elegant without appearing to look as if I'm trying really hard to be elegant.

Comment if you have never ever experienced that feeling of going to a place and thinking that you completely choose the wrong outfit and you just wan't to go home and change your clothes or scream because you were deciding over two dresses and you chose the wrong one and why you always have to be chosing the wrong one and why why why why. (If you always choose the right outfit and feel great with it don't continue reading, unless you want to).
1. Think about the type of event. Okay, I know this is always the first thing magazines say when you are wondering about what to wear. It is important to know how to dress for each time. But think about who is going to go to the party, event... and how could they dress, and try to harmonize with them, but NEVER WEAR SOMETHING YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH because people will notice it.
2. Choose the accesories. If the dress is full of rhinestones and trimmings don't wear too many accesories because it will look too much over the top, as if you will appear too flashy. Wear discreet golden or silver rings or bracelets and a purse with no trims, and with a colour that matches the shoes, that should be two colours max.
3. The colours that match you. If you are light skinned and are going to a night event, golden or pale tones will look better on you. If you want to look more sexy or stand out more you can also wear black or red (if you are blonde) as they will look better. If you are dark skinned oranges, golds, greens and intense colours will look amazing although pale colours also contrast with the skin and look better.
4. Hair. This is the biggest question, but that really is simple. If what you are wearing has an open back make a bun or a hairstyle that does not leave the hair loose. If the dress has a lot of trims you should also do a hairstyle so that it can be appreciated. If the dress is more symple you can leave your hair loose or wear a little diadem or decoration so it does not look so "empty". But never hide your face! specially if you spent 3 hours doing your make-up.
5. Shoes. Wear high heels only if you know how to walk in them. REALLY. There was this girl at a graduation and she made a terrible fool of herself wearing high heels without knowing how to. And, no, she did not fall or anything but walking in front of 300 people in that way... well better not to. Platforms only look well if you are wearing trousers and a blouse or shirt and maybe with a loose dress (although you decide depending on how the clothes fit you). With babydoll, tight and long dresses heels look much better. If you want a classy look go for pumps (as Jimmy Choo), they don't have to be too high. With a skirt or a two parts (that if tight until the waist and then if babydoll) dress they look great.
6. Make up. Main rules, if you put a lot of make up in your eyes don't do the same on the lips or it will be too much. Smokey eyes only look good if you have practiced several times and really know how to do them. Dark makeup makes blue and green eyes look amazing and a little golden or light eyeshadow makes dark eyes look great too. And when you apply mascara use toilet paper, roll it into your finger, put it between your eyelashes and close your eye to remove excess of mascara.
7. Bag. It has to be of a similar tone of your accesories (if they are big and coloured) or your shoes. Wear big colourful purses if you are wearing a very simple outfit without too many colours and simple ones with a dress with lace or gems. But prefferably it shouls be a discreet one.

From September 1 almost all brands introduced their new autumn and winter seasons, and in Madrid and New York Fashion Weeks we saw what will be trending in Spring and Summer 2015.
Large multinationals such as Inditex (including Zara, Stradivarius, Pull and Bear ...) have forgotten the studs, who invaded last winter season and bet on black and white and khaki tones.
Fringed ponchos are the new "thing", as they were this summer, but made of wool or acrylic, loose or with a belt at mid-height.
They also will take a long long coats, trench coats and cardigans in black or dark blue and light pink tones occasionally. The big fluffy ones will be very popular, although you will have to save more to buy them.
About shoes, new trends include equestrian-style boots (knee-deep in dark tones) and the platform patent leather hiking boots style Panama Jack, which I thing (don't start cyberbullying me for this) the worst thing ever if you want to go walking in the city, I mean they are okay with jeans and big woolie jumpers if you are going hiking but are the worst thing ever if you are wearing them with with classy trousers and big stylish stuff if you are going shooping or hanging out with friends in the city because you can't just introduce mountain boots into a classy outfit.
They will also set a trend much heel boots with zipper, mahogany or brown tones, and brands such as Zara and Pull and Bear are making it affordable, around 24 dollars.
Key Colors: Black, light pink and dark green khaki

El otro día por Madrid descubrí por la calle Lagasca el paraíso del estilo juvenil dulce y desenfadado, y que es estilosísima.

Recomiendo muchísimo esta marca si sois chicas jóvenes y os gusta un estilo con prendas informales pero con mucha clase. Brownie apuesta por las camisas sueltas y en tonos claros, y prendas en tonos muy combinables y sólo usa los estampados en algunas blusas y faldas. Son prendas que hacen que parezca que no te lo hayas pensado demasiado al salir de casa y aún así sean muy elegantes
TOP: Destacan las faldas cortas de invierno, sueltas o más pegadas en tonos oscuros (de gris a verde oscuro o granate), así como ls blusas con la espalda abierta, que siempre da un toque con mucha clasey los jerseys, en tonos neutros y combinables y con aspecto de ser muy calentitos.
BOTTOM: Algo caros los jerseys (55 euros media) aunque la calidad lo vale.

So basically this blog is about fashion and I know there are thousands of them out there but I really like clothes and style and try to do this one.
Lot's of times we comment that a girl has a very bad sense of style. "Having a bad sense of style" is very subjective (and no offence plz but girls can be real bitches and just get faults out of nowhere) let's face it, there are, like, lot's of different styles that have nothing to do with each other and suit different people.
Style depends on people's character or how they feel but all trends are valid (except some "things" that cannot be considered clothes at all and that I will talk about later). What fashion really is consists of going out feeling beautiful and great.
I hope this blog grows, in it we will comment new trends, give advice and styles, as well as commenting brands so you can find your perfect clothes.

Probablemente haya infinitos blogs de moda y este tan sólo sea uno más pero habrá que intentarlo.
Muchas
veces se ha podido comentar de alguien, sea un famoso o una persona que
conozcamos, que "viste mal". Eso de vestir mal es muy subjetivo, además
las chicas (tranquilidad, que nadie se ofenda) si queremos dejar a
alguien por los suelos, algo vamos a encontrar.
El estilo de alguien
depende mucho de cómo sea o cómo se sienta en ese momento. Si es cierto
que hay conjuntos que no deberían existir, más que nada por respeto
hacia los que los llevan. Pero todos los estilos son válidos salvo esas
excepciones. Con sentirse guapa, segura y salir pisando bien fuerte por
la puerta ya estás bonita.
Espero que este blog vaya creciendo poco a
poco. En él comentaremos conjuntos, haremos avances de las nuevas
tendencias y daremos consejos para que ninguna nos sintamos
acomplejadas, ya que lo valemos. También recomendaremos nuevas marcas,
ya que puedes encontrar nuevos estilos que te encanten y decidir
adoptarlos.
